PAMBULA LAKE BOAT RAMP

Public BBQ

Pambula Lake Boat Ramp serves as a practical launching point for anglers and boaters, though visitors should expect a surface that could benefit from maintenance - the concrete shows signs of wear and can become slippery when wet. The facility features a floating pontoon positioned roughly four metres from the main ramp, which presents a minor challenge when securing vessels by rope but remains manageable for experienced boaters. What truly distinguishes this location is the exceptional fishing opportunities it provides, with many considering it a favourite spot for casting lines. The facility includes fish cleaning tables and benefits from convenient access via the Princes Highway, making it easily reachable for day trips. The real treasure lies just nearby: an oyster farm offering what locals describe as exceptional value and quality - some claim the finest they've encountered. This combination of decent boat launching facilities and outstanding fresh seafood makes Pambula Lake Boat Ramp a worthwhile stop, particularly for those who appreciate both fishing and exceptional local produce, despite the ramp's modest appearance.
